Not Fancy, but Quiet and Safe 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I call Lakeside, Virginia home and enjoy living in this area. This area is close to the downtown area of Richmond, but with a population of less than 13,000, this community still provides a small-town feel. This town is centrally located between Interstate 64 and Interstate 95, so traveling to other areas is a simple task. The crime rate in this area is low, so you won’t have to worry about crime. People are just friendly here for the most part.

Living in Lakeside, Virginia provides a quiet community for you to call home, while providing opportunities just outside of the area for great dining, shopping, and recreational opportunities. The best areas in Lakeside, Virginia include the one local park. This park does provide soccer and baseball fields, as well as a decent sized playground. While this is not the fanciest of places to live, it is quiet and safe and you can easily make a quick trip to get what you need. Read Less
