If you live in Lakeside and are planning for friends to visit, you likely won't have trouble finding fun activities that everyone will enjoy.

For a relaxing vacation that involves ...Read More a little gambling, Barona Resort and Casino is the perfect location. There are lots of luxury amenities on site, including swimming and a workout center. You can also enjoy nature at Santee Lakes, a wonderful location for taking a walk or having a picnic. Summers Past Farms is another family-friendly location that celebrates the beauty of native crops. You'll also get lots of meal ideas from the fresh fruits and vegetables on the farm.

Lakeside is also home of the Creation and Earth History Museum, which exhibits spiritual principles that are sometimes displayed in various aspects of the earth's development. You can also end the day at the Santee Drive-In, where you can enjoy your favorite movies under the stars. Read Less
