Lakeland South - Easy Living South of Seattle 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Beautiful suburban neighborhoods make this place quite the destination for many who are looking to live south of Seattle, due to the fact that we are very close to the I-5 freeway and about 30 minutes away from downtown Seattle. Living in Lakeland South has its peaceful elements, ...Read More but we are no rural suburban town as there are many accessible amenities fairly close to us. Located very close to our town is a fantastic theme park/water park combination called Wild Waves. During the summers they offer seasonal passes, which many of the Seattle/Tacoma residents take advantage of.

The best places around Lakeland South to find food and entertainment are located on the other side of the I-5 freeway, in the nearby city of Federal Way. Many of the local residents commute to Seattle & Tacoma for work, it is much less expensive to live out in Lakeland South than it is to live inside King County and the greater Seattle area. If you are looking for a lovely neighborhood with lots of nearby amenities situated in a natural northwest landscape, then Lakeland South might be the place for you. Read Less
