Lovely Lake Stevens User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Life in Lake Stevens is very, very nice. It's also very, very expensive, as bedroom communities of Seattle tend to be. Seattle's tech corridor makes it a fairly high cost-of-living place, but if you can afford it, Lake Stevens is the place to be. It's far enough away from the cit ...Read More y that there's less noise and bustle, a friendlier suburban feel, but near enough for a decent commute (by Seattle standards), and ideal for a mostly-telecommute job.

There are excellent schools and easy access to Everett to the west, Seattle to the southwest, and Seattle's Eastside communities to the south. Lake Stevens is about 25 miles due north of Redmond, WA, home of Microsoft and Nintendo of America, among others. Kids and families can have fun at some parks and a museum, or go to Everett for more choices. Nightlife in Lake Stevens is mostly bars and restaurants, but Everett and Seattle have far more extensive entertainment, and they're close enough for a nice night out. Read Less
