Lake Grove, NY: Class and Comfort Meet Here 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I've been a resident of Lake Grove, New York for 37 years now. Unlike many areas of our fine state, life here is laid-back, unrushed, and peaceful, with just enough of the city life mixed in to keep things convenient. The people who live here are decent, hardworking individuals w ...Read More ho take pride in their homes and their accomplishments. They treat one another with respect and courtesy. Everyone has a ready smile and a quick hello. The weather can be a bit unpredictable, typical New York fashion, and I will say that our schools could use a bit of improvement. I will also say that our crime rate is impressively low and that is a huge plus.

There are some interesting and enjoyable things to do in and around Lake Grove, including visiting the Glorious Glass Art Boutique art gallery, the Smith Haven Mall, Xcelerated Adventure hiking, hang gliding, rafting, and kayaking, and of course all the incredible shopping and dining New York is famous for. I invite anyone who is interested to come visit Lake Grove, New York. You will find it quite pleasant here, I have no doubt. Read Less
