I moved to Lake Elsinore in December of 2004. Let me say since I have moved here this city has changed phenomenally for the better. Let's start with the transformation of the lake. It was known in the past for its bad smell. This was all natural reasons. There wasn't enough oxyge ...Read More
n in the water so the fish were dying and the algae built up making the lake look green. The city fixed this by putting what is basically giant fans that put oxygen into the water. So now the fish are living therefore there is no smell and they are eating the algae so it isn't green! Also in 2004 there were only about 28k residents. Now there are nearing 55k residents! It was labeled third in most growth for all of California 2012. The city has developed immensly since i first moved here and continues to do so. New neighborhoods like alberhill ranch and mcvicker bring a whole new side to the city that wasn't around 10 years ago. New shopping centers off of central brought great new retail locations to my city. Near the diamond stadium(top of the line semi-pro baseball arena) the area has also developed immensly. I'm proud to see the changes in my city and i don't plan on moving out any time soon. Much develepment is still planned and underway. This city is truly a diamond in the rough that as of recent has been showing its true shine. If your looking to move here do it!!
