Hot And Humid, But Fun To Explore 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Living in La Homa, TX was a great experience. I am use to the city life setting, so my family and I enjoyed staying here. There is a fair amount of shopping centers, attractions and restaurants to eat at. The community seems very friendly and very diverse. Most areas here are mos ...Read More tly populated with the hispanic population. The unemployment rate is sadly high in this area and truthfully I am not sure why. Some area can be a little dangerous and some area are very beautiful with large homes at cheap rates.

The best places in La Homa, TX are Taqueria Mary and Zen Asian Bistro & Bar. For the size of the city, I did not expect there to be such a wide range in restaurants here. The cost of living is actually very cheap here and you can buy a home for cheap, a large home at that. The weather is fair, some days hotter than others and I did not appreciate the humidity too much. Read Less
