A Walakable And Historic Smalltown User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Kirk wood is a place that I tend to take for granted. Situated in downtown, the town is historic and extremely walkable. In the apartment that my wife and I live in, anything we want is within a few minutes of us. We even live on top of some of our favorite restaurants, which fra ...Read More nkly is an added bonus to our location.

Most other big name shops and restaurants can be found outside downtown, a few minute bike ride or car trip. Convenience is key here, and I love how much healthier I’ve become as a result. YMCA is not far from us as well, and there’s an Amtrack Station right across the street from us. There’s also an off-road biking trail that was once a rail track, and goes through a farm that offers a free animist Park.

Otherwise, the city is great for living, spiff anything else like a more reasonable night life and entertainment, you would be better of going into St. Luis. There’s also not that many places to find work, leading you to also look towards the city, which is about 30 minutes away. I love it though, and hope you give it some good thougty. Read Less
