I've been living in Kent for a few years now thanks to a job I picked up at the university. It's a great small city and is a perfect choice for students attending school there or folks looking for a comfortable small city to live in. Rent here is very affordable which is great for students that are looking for their own apartment. Besides the college, there are a decent amount of work opportunities here as well. Since there are a lot of students living in the area, it's a great way to socialize and meet new people. There are always fun activities to do here. Besides work and school, there are enough places to go shopping and restaurants to try out. It's a fun city, especially in the summer. The weather is very comfortable and you'll be able to enjoy the many public parks throughout Kent. I also like the Jessie Smith Nature Preserve, it's a beautiful spot and probably the best area in Kent.

How on earth does Kent have an F rating for weather with Brimfield has a B- Kent's weather rating here is an F, yet when you look at Brimfield's rating it gets a B- for weather. Brimfield is 5 miles away from Kent, the weather can not possibly be THAT different in two places that are that are so close together.
