I've been living in Kent for a few years now thanks to a job I picked up at the university. It's a great small city and is a perfect choice for students attending school there or folks looking for a comfortable small city to live in.

or students that are looking for their own apartment. Besides the college, there are a decent amount of work opportunities here as well. Since there are a lot of students living in the area, it's a great way to socialize and meet new people. There are always fun activities to do here.
Besides work and school, there are enough places to go shopping and restaurants to try out. It's a fun city, especially in the summer. The weather is very comfortable and you'll be able to enjoy the many public parks throughout Kent. I also like the Jessie Smith Nature Preserve, it's a beautiful spot and probably the best area in Kent.
