Kahului the Perfect Place to Call Home 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I just loved living in Kahului, Hawaii. Located on the island of Maui, this beautiful location is the best place to live in the Hawaiian Islands. The weather is perfect; ideal for snowbirds who would like to escape the long winter season. This is not considered a tourist attraction, so you won't have to deal with the large crowds of tourists.

The city of Kahului has approximately twenty-eight thousand residents. Although it's not a tourist attraction, there are many outdoor activities to enjoy. Located close to Kahului are the Kanaha Beach County Park, Maui Arts and Cultural Center, and the Kanaha Wildlife Sanctuary.

With the excellent school system, this is a great place to raise a family. The crime rate is very low, so it's also a safe place to call home. There is plenty of shopping at the local shopping centers and the Maui Swap Meet. Once you move to this idyllic community, you will never want to leave. Read Less
