I've been living in Jamestown for 8 years and have fallen in love with the small-town feel and nice neighbors and friendly suburban neighborhoods. I and my kids have enjoyed the parks, shops and recreational facilities in this small town and have allowed us to enjoy a laid-back atmosphere and have developed strong friendships that continue since the first year we actually moved here. Jamestown is known as the Pride of the Prairie and is renowned for its beautiful scenery and weather in the fall and spring months.
The best areas in Jamestown are around Bunker Park where there are lots of amenities and other places to enjoy the quality family time. Jamestown has great educational school systems that provide quality education for my kids and the city is also very low on crime and other negative activities. If you're looking to move to North Dakota, I highly recommend Jamestown as a city to consider if you're looking for a small town environment with all the amenities needed to live a quality lifestyle.
