You could always do worse User Rating 2.5 rating By Anonymous ( Mar 03, 2020) As a resident of 9 years, my wife and I are ready to move on. We are both college grads and don't seem to find many fellow
grads unless its part of the downtown (outside tourists) scene. As parents of a elementary age kid, we have found the public school not meeting our ex

There is not a shortage of funds for constructing new buildings though. The crime stats are probably worse than than what the report states. I have been stolen from multiple times including a; truck, trailer, kayak, boat battery, boat gas (LOL). Methamphetamine use is rampant and the educational / employment opportunities are negligible. One of the best areas in Hot Springs is on the north side of town. " The American Spa " is located on the north side and features natural thermal waters that feel fabulous. The shopping is great. Rock Paper Scissors as a fun little boutique to visit. Did I mention the southern hospitality? It’s out of this world.

The public transportation is alright. The buses at Intracity Transport run twelve hours a day, but they're closed on major holidays. The restaurants in Hot Springs make up for it though! Boogies Bar and Grill is my favorite. They serve delicious homestyle food with a four-star rating. When I go out at night, I prefer to visit The Corner Bar located close to the natural spa. The people, food, and amazing spas are some of the many reasons I'm happy to call Hot Springs home. Read Less
