Wildlife Literally in My Backyard! User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I used to live in Miami, but that side of Florida was too crazy for me. When I was taking a drive up I-75 to visit a friend in Georgia, we pulled over in Homosassa Springs and I never looked back. North of Tampa and southwest of Jacksonville, The best areas in Homosassa Springs f ...Read More or me are the endless outdoor activities.

I love being able to see the manatees at the Saint Martins Marsh Aquatic Preserve. I can be at the beaches along the Gulf of Mexico in minutes, rated some of the best in all the world. The calm waters of the Gulf are nothing like the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

I love living in Homosassa Springs because I have a safe and secure neighborhood where all of my neighbors are my age and take care of one another. I can get to the premium outlet mall off I-75 in minutes, and I am only a short drive to Sarasota and Siesta Key. Read Less
