Hockessin Hits Home! User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) If you're looking for beautiful suburban neighbourhoods surrounded by a peaceful natural setting then Hockessin is a city that you find very appealing. Living in Hockessin has been a wonderful experience, and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the big city to a place like ...Read More this gives one a feeling of serenity. I personally enjoy being close to nature, and although the weather may get colder during select seasons, our summers are beautiful.

The best places in Hockessin to find food and drink are around Lancaster Pike, a long road that runs through Hockessin. Many a time you will be able to find a local brewery where the townsfolk are enjoying themselves with dinner and live entertainment. I myself have come to appreciate the smaller sized dive bars and pubs, mostly because I've gotten comfortable with the regulars.

One thing I would recommend to those who would like to find out more about our little town is to stop by and take advantage of the many bed and breakfast options available through services like Air B&B, as many of our town folks with nice homes open them up to strangers at a fairly inexpensive cost.
