Cute little Southern town! 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 08, 2020) We are a military family and have lived here for the last two years. We absolutely love Hinesville! My kids go to Taylor’s Creek Elementary and we have had nothing but excellent experiences with the community so far. Hinesville is a friendly, diverse community that is growing rapidly and we will be sad to leave when the military sends us on to the next place!

My biggest gripe is the weather. Being within an hour’s drive of beaches means hurricane season is no fun, but that’s my Midwest-raised land-locked perspective there ;-) Read Less

I feel sorry for everyone that has to come here because of the military. My husband is stationed at Fort Stewart, we have been here since 2009. The crime here is horrible. You always hear about someone going to jail b ...Read More ecause attempted murder, rape, or burglary. The only good schools are the private ones, except for the Pre K center. All the business and hometown people are so rude!! They treat everyone like you have something to give them. I have never been to a place so full of people that have so much hate for each other. No one here can drive either. There are wrecks every day, and trust me I know!! I work at a Clinic and we are always getting people that have been "injured" in a car accident and are suing the other person! All the greedy people, they want what they can get and it will suck out of you. The Health Dept is a joke!! Rent is sky high due to military and the owners and real estate companies know they can gip you!! It is the ghetto city of all military cities.

If your ever in the area, the Farmer's Natural Food Market, Advanced Chiropractic, Rodeo's, Sushi House, and Flash Foods are the only places I suggest stopping by. Read Less
