Highland Springs, Virginia: Close to Richmond User Rating 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) Living in Highland Springs, Virginia gives me the closeness that I need to commute to Richmond, while providing a small suburban area to live. I only have to drive 15 minutes to be in the city of Richmond. Luckily this area is surrounded by major highways, so getting in and out o ...Read More f town is very simple.

The best areas in Highland Springs, Virginia are the neighborhoods. These are actually like you see on television shows were the kids are all hanging out and driving bikes down the street. There is a closeness between people here that is rare to see.

The downside of calling this home is that there are not many stores to meet your needs. In order to have more choices for eating or shopping you will have to drive the short distance to Richmond of you want a larger choice of where to shop and eat. Overall though, if you need to be close to Richmond, but want a small-town feel, then this may be the place for you. Read Less
