One of the best areas to live in lower Michigan. User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) Haslett, Michigan is located to the east of the state's capital city of Lansing. Haslett is an excellent community with an outstanding public school system and an ideal police force that keeps the town safe and informs the public of everything they need to know. Haslett is a sere ...Read More ne, peaceful community with Lake Lansing located right in the center surrounded by beautiful homes and a quaint park. During the fall season, the trees that line the lake and surrounding neighborhoods turn to a beautiful array of warm colors that make Haslett even more enticing to homebuyers. The town is located right next to East Lansing which is home to the renowned Michigan State University.

Nightlife in Haslett itself is nothing special, but being that it is so close to the college town of East Lansing this is never a problem for locals. Dining and shopping are okay, but again, most people will head into Lansing for more unique or cultural dining and shopping experiences.

Overall, Haslett is a wonderful place to live, especially for the upper middle-class. It is a more affluent community that is perfect for raising a family. Read Less
