This city or suburb community, is more like the upper east side version of the Killeen area. I will admit that it is a step up from the ghetto of Killeen because they do have nicer, cleaner parks and recreational areas. However, it's still too close to crime, there are tons of ho ...Read More
me invasions in the newer areas of town, and the nightlife/dining attractions are okay, just a bunch of chain restaurants, bars, etc. The job market still sucks, because if you're not a relative of some sort, they will NOT hire you.

If you're looking for great entertainment with friends, Club Fuego is a great choice. The music is great and the atmosphere is particularly inviting. Boulders Sport Climbing Center is another wonderful Harker Heights attraction that allows you to be more active and push your body to the limits with indoor rock climbing.
For more natural scenery, take a trip to River Hollow Farm, where you'll see a variety of animals and take advantage of several relaxing amenities like massages. There are also overnight packages if you want to spend time with someone special.
