Peace Near the Beach in Halawa 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I love living near the beach because it has always been my dream. Halawa is very beautiful, the people are friendly and there are tons of activities to do within walking distance. Some of my favorite things to do are to visit the beach and find local activities. I still have the ...Read More "tourist" feel because I am so excited to explore everything.

The house values range in prices depending on what you are looking for. Being closer to the beach will cost more. My commute to work is very convenient. There are public transportation options or some people use motorbikes or cycles which makes it quicker.

The best thing about living here is the beautiful weather all year round. I also love the diversity that Halawa has to offer. People are really friendly and are always willing to help. Some of my favorite restaurants are The Alley Restaurant Bar & Grill which have amazing Hawaiian Chicken. I also love Hughley's Southern Cusine because the shrimp is to die for! Read Less
