Gurnee, Illinois is a great place to live. After spending only a few years living in this suburb of Chicago, I can confidently say I’d live here longer if I could. The shopping is excellent with a mall conveniently located in the city and plenty of store throughout Gurnee with diverse options to suit anyone’s needs.

Employment is steady, and with several corporate offices in the region, gainful employment is certainly not hard to find. The cost of living can seem high at times but is usually counteracted by higher paying jobs, being that the city is so close to Chicago and the “Metra” rail that takes you into downtown Chicago at a reasonable price.

I couldn’t have picked a better suburb to live in than Gurnee. The weather is that of Chicago, with really warm summers and sometimes frigid winters with a lot of snow. But you come to expect that when you’re living anywhere in the Midwest.
