This is a tourist area, so the neighbors that we have year-round are actually few and far between, but we enjoy meeting the different people that we come across. The population is diverse, especially in the summer time. That is because there is so much to do here, that people love coming here.

The best areas in Gulf Shores, Alabama are without a doubt the beach areas. The beaches here have white sand and the water is so clear. There are multiple things to choose from to do while visiting here or living here, including fishing, sunbathing, playing a round or two of golf and even dolphin watching. This place has made for an exciting retirement so far. Read Less
