I have lived here my whole life. There is nothing here but a Robert Trent Jones golf course. It has big city price of living in a Mayberry town. There is only a few factory jobs that don't pay that well. To me it's a bunch of people that think they are better than others when actually most of them need are worse than the ones they look down on. The town want support someone trying to open a restaurant or some other type of business, but love a big chain store or restaurant. There is no kind of night life or anything to do on the weekends. I could go on and on but there is probably a word limit on here and I haven't even got to the poor public school system. The private school is pretty good but if you are socially accepted, but then your average working person isn't and can't afford it. But this is just my opinion.

Crime is really only far downtown in the lower income areas but unless you live there you wouldn’t stop anywhere near it. Has a movie theatre and many places to eat and shop. Would not recommend putting kids in the public school if you can pay for the private school. Fort Dale Acadmey is one of the best in the state and most people that I’ve seen graduate get some kind of scholarship or discount. Housing is decent. Everyone is very friendly and connected. If you are thinking of moving here you better choose quickly. This is the kind of town where you move in and don’t move out.
