Greenbelt - A Great Mix of Business and Pleasure 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) Greenbelt is a quiet town in Maryland that's a hop, skip, and jump away from all the action. Getting in and out of neighboring Washington DC and Virginia is a breeze, as the town is located right off the Baltimore Washington Parkway. Greenbelt is home to the NASA Goddard Space Fl ...Read More ight Center and many other businesses.

Living in Greenbelt is enjoyable for singles, as well as families. The schools are some of the best in Maryland and the shopping is excellent, with several malls located within a 5 mile radius. Grocery shopping is convenient with a Giant and Safeway store right in the town. Local parks are available for picnics, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.

One of the best areas in Greenbelt is Buddy Attick Park, where they have fun events for kids like a Easter egg hunt and fireworks on July 4th. The park surrounds a small lake and there's a trail that you can walk, jog or bike on. There's a play area for children and tables and chairs with built in grills for family gatherings such as birthday parties. Read Less
