There Are Better Places To Live Than Franklin, OH 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I'm sorry, but I have been living in Franklin since grade school. I am in my late 20's now. It was awful then and it is awful now. The crime rate just keeps going up and up right along with the dropout rates while the graduation rates, decent housing availability and job market g ...Read More o down. The people here have just given up on even trying to make their homes and neighborhoods look decent. It's just depressing. It's definitely not one of the best areas in Ohio to call home.

The best I can say about Franklin is that there are some pretty decent attractions close by. There's the Land of Illusion amusement park, Sorg Mansion, Get Air West Chester Trampoline Park, Gambler's Paradise amusement park, and King's Island amusement park. If you venture outside of Franklin and head over into Lebanon you can find some shops and restaurants like The Golden Lamb, but there's really nothing here in Franklin to recommend it as a place to visit or a place to live.
