Meh, It's Ok 3 rating By Some Gotti ( Jun 03, 2018) Foster City is a good city. It has good parks, it is very safe and it's very diverse. But there are problems with it. There really is nothing to do here in Foster City. It's just a bunch of parks and dock, that's really it. The community is also not too outgoing, so there really ...Read More isn't much to do. There are no bars or nightclubs. There really is no nightlife in Foster City. Also, the cost of living is unimaginably high. The cost of living is just as expensive as New York City. Finally, the whole "A+" on education is a bit farfetched. The elementary schools are ok, but the middle school isn't too good. But no matter how boring my city is, it's still awesome. Read Less

There's always something to do in Foster City. The summer has plenty of outdoor activities you can partake in and some great farmers markets if you like fresh produce. You won't have to go far to do your shopping since the downtown area has lots of markets and major chains such as a Target and Home Depot.

The best area in Foster City is anything along the water. It's simply a beautiful view and there are a bunch of small parks and places to walk along. Plus, you may see some interesting street performers while you're walking along Beach Park Boulevard. Read Less
