Fortuna Foothills Arizona: A True Oasis 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I experienced a true desert oasis while living in Fortuna Foothills Arizona. It is a thriving desert city, which is a part of Yuma County. The area has really grown over the past 10 years, including new shopping venues, and stores. The district is a great place to raise a family. ...Read More It fosters a very close-knit community with adequate educational networks. The city is nestled amid the Colorado River, the California border, and the Mexican border.

The cost of living is fairly low, which create opportunities for better livelihood, savings, and retirement. Crime does happen, like with every other city. Due to the amount of law enforcement around, because the city is on the brim of the border, crime isn’t very prevalent. Most residents seek agricultural and farming type employment here.

Fortuna Foothills offers spectacular scenic views. Even though the weather can reach extremely high temperatures, the mountainscape is spectacular throughout the year. I love quite a few areas in Fortuna Foothills. Winding down with golf near the Fortuna De Oro RV Park off of Interstate 8 is the best! Read Less
