BIG NO on buying a house or moving to Farmington 0.5 rating By Anonymous ( Oct 01, 2019) There is dark cloud over Farmington. Violent crimes are a common occurrence in San Juan County. Stabbing deaths, missing persons, burglaries are the most common. I lived there for nearly 3 years. The climate is pretty good. Crime on the other hand is not. The town touches the edge of the Indian reservation. When I was there they did not have stores that met my needs. This town is not kid frendly making it not the best place to raise a family.
