NOVA is Great! User Rating 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I think living in Fairfax Station, VA was a great place to be while starting my career. It is full of other young graduates looking to make their mark on the world. Its proximity to Washington D.C. means that there is always something to do. Fairfax Station itself has a great dow ...Read More ntown area full of funky shop and local restaurants. It can get a little crowded on the weekends, but that is only because it is one of the best areas in Fairfax. This makes it an ideal place to be at any time during the week!

I do not think it is an ideal location for a family, but I do know people who grew up in the city and went to local high schools. It has an urban feel, but there is a distinct community feeling as well. Overall, I think this town has a great vibe for those who are just entering the work force as its affordable and vibrant.
