Some of the cool areas to go includes the Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce Trolley Wine Tour and Fence Stile Vineyards & Winery. Both places gave me an opportunity to learn more about wine and how it is made. The trolley tour was my favorite, I think I am going to make this an annual fun thing to do. Shopping here is great, my favorite new store is American Artifact Company, so many interesting items to choose from at reasonable prices.

I love history, so I really enjoyed soaking up information on the historical Missouri State Penitentiary, which was built in 1836 and shut down in 2004. I also enjoyed learning about the mineral water at the Hall of Waters. Since I am single, I do partake in the nightlife here in Excelsior. One of my favorite places to go to on the weekends is the Atlas Saloon, their karaoke night is so much fun! Read Less
