A Stone's Throw to the Big Apple User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I have been living in Englewood for a decade, and coming from Texas, it was a transition at first, but I love it here. I can hit the George Washington Bridge and be at a Yankee game in minutes, it's literally across the Hudson River from my street. When I want to hit a Broadway show or eat at the best dining establishments in the country, it a short trip into Manhattan. If I don't want to spend a paycheck shopping in Manhattan, I can hit the Garden State Parkway and go to a number of outlet malls in the area.

The best areas in Englewood are all food related for me. The best bakeries, pizza, and sub shops, all within walking distance of my house. I love being able to get to Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or New York, in no time at all and then sneak back to my house away from all the congestion. Read Less
