You Want To Live In Elwood, NY! Oh Yes, You Really Do! 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I have officially reached the one decade mark of living in Elwood, New York and what can I say? This is absolutely one of the best areas in New York to call home! I don't even know where to start in giving this place my full recommendation: the wonderful people who make up this t ...Read More own, the beautiful neighborhoods, parks, and downtown area, the practically non-existent crime rate, the fantastic schools and the people who work in them, The beautiful weather. It would actually be hard to find something discouraging about Elwood. It has something for everyone, no matter what walk of life you come from. Life here is simply grand.

Elwood has some interesting attractions and activities to recommend her as well. There's the Smithtown Center for Performing Arts, the Vanderbilt Museum, the Mysterious Forest of Commack Road (my personal favorite), Xcelerated Adventures, Sky Zone trampoline park, and so many great little pubs, restaurants, and shops you won't know which way to go first. In my humble opinion, this town is a little slice of Heaven. Read Less
