Nice, Average Place 2.5 rating By jchase ( Jul 10, 2016) Currently living in an apartment in Elkridge. Very pet friendly area - multiple apartment complexes that support dogs over 75 lbs. Crime was low when I moved in, but has been increasing (minor vandalism, slashed tires). Major crime has gone down, to judge from the decrease in the ...Read More amount of police sirens and yelling from nearby late-night services. Drivability to the neighboring job areas around Fort Meade is good - 20 minutes from my location, during morning commute. For the furthest areas this should increase to about 35 minutes. Services compared to the following areas:Northern VA - 75% less service. Expect carry-out orders to be forgotten or improperly filled 50% of the time. Expect wait staff to forget you are waiting (not late, but totally absent) 5% of the time. Ellicott City MD - 10% better service. Expect carry out orders to be filled 50% of the time, with roughly what was ordered 75% of the time. Utilities - nothing major to complain about. Rudeness - expect people to be friendly about 80% of the time, and directly insulting about 20% of the time. Read Less
