Seasons: Elko, Nevada 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I've lived in Elko, Nevada for about three years. If you are anything like me and like small towns and wide-open spaces, this is a great place to live. Admittedly, there isn't a ton to do in town, the nightlife isn’t huge. However, there are a handful of local restaurants that ...Read More are local hot spots; there is also a number of fast food restaurants.

In Elko, we enjoy all four seasons. During the winter we get a good amount of snow and are able to enjoy various snow activities. Come spring, the temperatures warm up a little and we can joy being outside as the flowers and trees begin to bloom. Summers are warm enough to enjoy swimming and other outside activities but are not unbearably hot. Fall, my personal favorite, are majestic in Elko. All the trees begin changing and looking up into the Ruby Mountains you are able to see all the different colors associated with fall.

One thing of the things I enjoy most about Elko is that we are right in the middle between Reno, Nevada and Salt Lake City, Utah. Both of these cities offer anything one could possibly need without having to drive an obscene distance. Read Less
