Elk Grove Village, IL is one of the best suburbs Chicago has to offer. The schools are great, and it’s extremely family friendly. There are plenty of jobs available due to there being several corporate centers nearby. Elk Grove is very diverse, which I have to say is what draws me to it the most. The diverse shopping experience is something worth being noted as well. The city is close to Schaumburg too, where there is one of the largest malls in the country and plenty of fun stuff to do. Above all, Elk Grove is a safe community, and who could ask for more when raising a family? The Elk Grove Police Department is very well trained and a group of honest, well-meaning people.

The housing in Elk Grove is excellent too. There are quite a few options for housing with varying price ranges. The city is a very nice upper middle-class community. There are several dining options as well, though it should also be noted that most of these dining options are franchises. The lack of night life is really the only downside to Elk Grove but in such a family friendly community that’s okay with me. There are plenty of other places throughout the suburbs and Chicago itself to go have fun at night.
