My Summary Called Living In Elizabeth City User Rating 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) My life in Elizabeth City can be summed up in 4 words, no place like home. I thoroughly enjoyed how close knit the many neighborhoods were, as we lived near Waterfront Park. Many nights spent at Machelhe Island convinced me that I would grow up to be a Park Ranger. Little did I k ...Read More now, my occupation would almost be the exact opposite.

During my younger years, some of the best areas in Elizabeth City to eat could be found taking a drive through HWY 17, and checking out the areas near Northeastern High School. Right next to Starbucks is the City Grille, and trust me when I tell you that they have some of the best burgers this side of I 95.

When weather is taken into consideration, many would move here in a heartbeak, and that is mainly the reason my family still lives here. Summer temperatures are warm and enjoyable, as a drive to the beach is not far whatsoever. You can reach Chesapeake VA in about 30 minutes or so, everything is nearby that you would ever need!
