Great Schools and Even Better People! User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 16, 2018) I've lived in Eastchester for five years with my husband and our son. We had originally moved here because of the school system, but quickly fell in love with the rest of the area as well! Everyone that we've met has been so nice and we've never had a problem finding things to do ...Read More around the city.

In the area that we're living in Eastchester, there's multiple coffee shops within walking distance as well as a few restaurants and a mall. Though there's a lot of chains like Dunkin Donuts and Stop and Shop, there's also some small, locally owned restaurants and stores. The local eateries like Piper's Kilt and Burrata Wood Fired Pizza are, in my opinion, some of the best areas in Eastchester. You can't go wrong with any of the restaurants on White Plains Road!

Overall, Eastchester is a wonderful city if you can afford it. Though it's a little expensive, it was worth every penny for my family. Read Less
