What I like about living in Peoria is that the houses are affordable and a lot of residents here take pride in keeping their homes looking presentable. Veterans Park is one of the best areas in East Peoria and is a great place to walk your dog or have a picnic with your partner.
The summers here are comfortable without getting too hot. Between the lake and the public parks, there are a usually a lot of summer events such as festivals and parades. You might even catch some local musicians at the park.
