The best area of East Grand Rapids is by far the downtown. While many of the towns in the Midwest are slowing loosing their downtown area, East Grand Rapids has a thriving downtown. There is always something to do or eat. All of the buildings and shops are cute and offer everything all in one area. I love shopping and eating especially on Wealthy Street.

One of my favorite restaurants is Lowcountry Kitchen. This restaurant really offers the Midwest the best of down South. The prices aren't too high and the food quality is amazing. Lowcountry Kitchen not only has great food, but also has fun drinks, making it a great place to relax after a long day. Read Less
