Dranesville: Tons to Do Within an Easy Commute 4 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) If you have to live close to Washington, D.C., then living in Dranesville, Virginia is for you. This place has it all. Great schools, good parks, and a ton of diversity.

These great things do come with a very expensive price tag. The cost of living here would be considered out ...Read More rageous to some. The local school system gives an excellent education. I highly recommend Aldrin Elementary School and Cooper Middle School. The programs offered there are exceptional.

Being right outside of D.C., means that people of all ethnicities live here. It is such a diverse area to reside in. The best areas in Dranesville, Virginia are the areas that you can easily get to for a day trip. There are so many museums, lakes, zoos, and monuments within an easy commute, that you will always be able to find something to do on a day off. There will never be a lack of things for you to do if you live in Dranesville and at the same time, you get a quiet place to call home. Read Less
