Dickinson Texas: Life on the Bayou

The time that I spent living in Dickinson Texas was wonderful and well spent. The town is domiciled in the Houston area. Dickinson is the home to a massive number of schools. There are more than 12, with great academic infrastructure. The Texas City Community College and the College of the Mainland are local staples. The town has a great economy, but the housing market has diminished compared to 10 years ago. The city is safe and well established.

Dickinson Texas has awesome weather, lots of warm climate months are available. Job opportunities are on the rise. Education makes up a great portion of the city, but there is also bayou life. Dickinson Bayou is a unique area, in fact, it is one of the best areas in Dickinson Texas. There are nice parks there. Fun family activities include canoeing, swimming, sightseeing, fishing, hiking, trail walking, and water skiing. The city sponsors annual events like the Festival of Lights for Christmas and baseball leagues for young children.
