I got my house robbed, this is a crap place to live unless your a criminal. 1 rating By Anonymous ( Mar 04, 2019) First I'd like to say forget about woring here, nooo jobs. The old boy network runs he town. Nothing to do here, except drink.
Being so close to the border is why the crime is so bad, one reason, the other is the criminals are friends with rhe law.

Retire anywhere but here, The weather is pretty good when the wind is not blowing, but its usually always blowing.
Dusty no matter how much you clean. Some folks out here are crazy violent. Guns, drunks, drugs. My place has been for sale for a year, Investing here is stupid. There said my peace. Hope you do better than I did. Read Less

Me and my grandparents stayed here for one night. We were on our way to Tuscon. We started in San Marcos, TX. 1st night we stayed in Fort Stockten, TX. Then Deming for night 2. Its a very poor town, ...Read More more people pass through the town in 1 min than the amount of people that live here. Most of the schools closed because money is so little. Its not just Deming, the area that its in is VERY VERY poor! Oh and good luck finding a good paying job in Deming. In my opinon dont start a family out here, their are other places that have better livability scores in New Mexico to do that. Read Less
