Deerfield Illinois: Family, Fun, and Leisure 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) I had an exceptional time with my family while living in Deerfield Illinois. The community that is 25 miles from Chicago, promotes family, fun, and leisure activities. This city houses the headquarters of major companies like Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, Walgreens, Caterpillar ...Read More Inc., and Consumers Digest to name a few. The town has a huge influx of multicultural residents, creating a beautiful and diverse community. Some of the best areas in Deerfield Illinois surround Deerfield Square which offers shops, great dining, and entertainment.

The town is easy to maneuver and has convenient transportation systems like the Metra Station that leads to downtown Chicago. Deerfield Illinois has Grade A educational resources, and excellent, affordable housing. There is no major criminal activity. The neighborhoods are safe and secure. The weather is terrific for the most part, of course, winters can be temperate. The area is somewhat costly, but employment is never an issue in the town. There are a plethora of business plazas and other viable job opportunities locally. Read Less
