Good for people who are looking for a suburb on the cheap. User Rating 4 rating By Anonymous ( Nov 23, 2022) Sure it's not the best part of Columbus, but is certainly not the worst! Brice has seen some better days, but the neighborhood is very close to 256 so shopping is still a breeze. But if Brice was still thriving it would get a much higher ranking. Brice still has many good local r ...Read More estaurants and a very wide selection though, and there is places like Saraga International in a minutes drive, so it still gets a 9/10. And in terms of chains, we still have applebees, a nearby red lobster and a nearby Outback Steakhouse and Texas Roadhouse.

We have Otherworld and Magic Mountain right off Brice. Eastland Mall and The Columbus Airport are a minutes drive away. The job market isn't great within the neighborhood, but there are some fairly good job opportunities within a minutes drive. And there is still JCPenny Logistics Center and still a massive influx of local shops and entry level jobs. It is in very close proximity to Reynoldsburg as-well.

Crime is average for a major city. It's not terrible but it isn't absolutely amazing either. Just expect some big city nonsense here and there. The community is great though, it mostly consists of middle-class black families and younger families, and the neighborhood is usually pretty quiet. It is also served by public transit.

The flaw is that commuting to downtown can be a chore at towns. And nightlife isn't amazing, it's pretty average for an area like this. So don't expect excellent nightlife.

Overall Score: 7.5/10. Not bad, but can be better. Good if you are looking for a quiet suburban area on the cheap, as this area is extremely affordable. Read Less
