A Town Full of Amenities and Education Programs 5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Clarkston, Georgia is a large welcoming southwestern town located in DeKalb County. The downtown area is attractive, but could be a lot better. One of the reasons I chose to live here is the cost of living is affordable. The weathers like a dream come true, the summers are hot and pleasant. Clarkston's weather is always just right for barbecues, picnics, swimming, running and tennis. Occasional rain and scattered showers. Simply just beautiful weather all year around, I certainly have no complaints.

One will simply enjoy the nearby attractions and amenities offered here in the city. There is a handful of elementary schools, high schools, learning centers, fitness centers, lounges, food pub & grills and many more exciting places to enjoy. Overall, this is a highly recommended city for living, touring and vacationing. Read Less
