Chesterton Indiana, A town that will cherish you! User Rating 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) I love living in Chesterton. It's a good place to raise your family and a good location. My oldest child attends Chesterton High School but there are also two private schools in Chesterton. My youngest attends Bailey Elementary, there's five elementary schools. Both of my childre ...Read More n receive great educations! The community is also very family oriented. Chesterton is a decent size, over ten thousand residents, a majority of them being families. However, Chesterton is also a good place for singles or new couples. There is plenty of work, with well over a hundred businesses in the area!

Another great aspect of Chesterton is its appearance. Chesterton is quite flat with some wooded areas. One of my favorite things about Chesterton is the Coffee Creek that flows through downtown. Coffee Creek is very beautiful and peaceful, some people come from out of town to have weddings there. There are also about ten parks, my daughter loves Dogwood Park because of its softball fields.
