While living in Celina, Ohio I was surprised to find that there were so many negative aspects about such a seemingly nice little place. What seemed at first glance to be one of the best areas in the great state of Ohio turned out to be a facade. The only thing redeeming about Celina was the quality of the schools there. After living there for a bit less than 5 years I pulled up stakes and moved on. It was sad to watch a place located in the midst of beautiful natural landscape and scenery to just be left to fall apart due to neglect. People are moving out of Celina and droves, and the failing job and housing market have a lot to do with that I'm certain. Crime is on the rise in the area as well. It is no longer a place I would even consider visiting, let alone living.
Celina does have some interesting attractions including the Temple of Tolerance, the Bicycle Museum of America, the Ohio Caverns, the Armstrong Air and Space Museum, and you can visit the grave of Annie Oakley nearby.
My best advice is to steer clear of Celina. Ohio has too many other beautiful communities to enjoy instead of wasting your time there.
