Casas Adobes, AZ - A Beautiful Place 3.5 rating By Anonymous ( Mar 23, 2012) Nice neighborhoods in selected locations with relatively large tracts of desert and plenty of restaurants, shopping areas, entertainment venues and parks. There is no disagreement that Casas Adobes, situated to the southwest of Oro Valley town and to the west of Cataline Foothill ...Read More s, is one of the most beautiful places in Arizona with great weather all year round.

The Casas Adobes Plaza is a famous historical retail place located near North Oracle and West Ina road. It features architectures in original styles, both Italian and Mediterranean, and an observation tower of the 19th century. The huge mall has stylish stores, food courts and personal services with a touch of Spanish charm. There are plenty of authentic cuisines inside the Plaza that serve good pizzas, salads and desserts made from ingredients imported from European countries. For someone with sweet tooth, Frost-the Italian gelateria sells fresh sorbets and ice creams all week long. The organic French bakery that offers full lunch menu is the one that is most liked by visitors to the Plaza. Few other cuisines next to Whole Foods market are family friendly such as Pei Wei-as Asian diner place, Chipotle and Sauce that is famous for Original Italian pizza.

For some reason, I was more anxious of relocating to Casas Adobes, in spite of my colleagues suggesting other places nearby. After ten years of staying near the Tucson Mall, although I still have occasional days of feeling guilty for choosing to live in an affluent neighborhood with high home prices-including mine, my mortgage payment now seems second to me. Even in this time of harder years of economic recession I still think of it in terms of pleasant weather, great community living and I can even carry on a brief dialogue about it with whomever wants to know about the place.
