It's the sma ...Read More ll town strength, the downtown feel, and the class of yesteryear that relaxes on a rocking chair instead of rushing to keep up with every single new trend.

Greenery is everywhere. Like a lot of the South, Carrboro is built around beautiful woods and doesn't chop down every tree in its wake. There are a few small parks and green patches designated for comfortable seats in the grass, but you can catch the shade of tall trees almost anywhere.

The best areas in Carrboro, NC are near the town's center with a lot of great restaurants, offering anything from pizza to Mexican food to a farm-to-table eatery that embraces the farm living that never truly left.

Chapel Hill is next door, with the famous UNC Chapel Hill campus that delivers great medical science and technology to the world. Have you heard about those babies given implants to hear the world around them after being born deaf or hard of hearing? The biggest early breakthrough was right there!
