The best areas in Cape Canaveral for me are all the incredible beaches in this area. Cape Canaveral is basically a barrier island with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Banana River on the other. I can go looking for seashells at Cocoa Beach, or go paddling down the river just about every day of the year.
On good days, I can be in Orlando in under a half hour, then take advantage of all their nightclubs and fine dining establishments. If I stay on the coast, I have Daytona Beach above me and Vero Beach below. My neighborhood is quiet and my days are never boring.
